ABOUT ME

Born in Seattle, Randolph Pollett now resides in Marysville, WA. With an profound interest in the visual arts since childhood, he pursued his love of drawing and painting for many years with a primary interest in surealism. While serving in the US Navy, he discovered a passion for photography, which over time, superseded  painting as his primary form of artistic communication. After leaving the service, he studied interior design and graphic arts at the Cornish Institute of Allied Arts in Seattle.

"From a young age, I have been facinated with quality studio work and a photographers control of every aspect of the shoot. My appreciation of this art, led me into studio work about 8 years ago, where I have primarily worked with models and still life. I love the use of theatrical lighting, shadow, rich colors, and suttle hues to make the image pop off the page".
